Isabel Withrow, LMSW

Law Enforcement Liaison & Analyst

Isabel Withrow, LMSW, serves as the Law Enforcement Analyst Assistant for the Prevent 2 Protect Hub. She brings experience in school social work, behavioral threat assessment, crisis response, mental health intervention, and collaboration with law enforcement and other first responders.

Before joining Prevent 2 Protect, Isabel worked as a school social worker at Zeeland East High School, where she conducted safety and suicide risk assessments and served on the school’s Behavioral Threat Assessment and Management and crisis response teams. She previously supported Ottawa County Community Mental Health’s Crisis Intervention Team, partnering with law enforcement to provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, risk assessment, safety planning, training, and connections to community resources. Her professional background also includes service as a police officer with the City of Madison Police Department.

Isabel earned a Master of Social Work with School Social Work Certification from Grand Valley State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology from Michigan State University. Her interdisciplinary experience allows her to bring a unique understanding of education, mental health, and law enforcement systems to Prevent 2 Protect’s collaborative approach to preventing targeted violence and supporting young people.
