We traveled to Genesee ISD today to kick off partnering with our newest region, and completed our regional training with educators, mental health professionals, and law enforcement personnel with partnering districts within Genesee ISD. Prevent 2 Protect presented “From Post to Prevention” to educators and school staff at Lincoln Park Public Schools, focusing on the role of digital media when preventing adolescent-targeted violence. We welcome any opportunity to present at local, state, and national conferences in an effort to spread more awareness and education on our mission.
Prevent 2 Protect presented “Making Management Matter: Strengthening the ‘M’ in School-Based BTAM” during the Advanced School Safety Academy hosted by the Michigan State Police Office of School Safety — equipping professionals with the tools to manage high-risk and high-need adolescents in the K-12 setting. Collaboration saves lives, and this was another step forward.
